Jason Norrell This is Amazing!!! I got most of these tracks years ago when they were available on johndavismusic. The extra tracks were well worth the price of admission! I played Jesus Gonna Build Me A Home at my brother's funeral in 2008. ( I will have to have someone play This World Is Not My Home at my funeral.) I thank you John for making some of the most amazing music in all of time and space. Finding this is like coming back home after being lost in the wilderness for years! Arigato Brother John. Favorite track: This World Is Not My Home.

NATHAN POFF A huge indie rock fan, I fell in love with Superdrag during high school in the late Nineties. Listened to the records, went to the shows, bought the t-shirt. Jesus saved my eternal soul a couple years ago (PRAISE HIM!) and the Holy Spirit moved me to throw out most of my old music collection. Thank God He got a hold of John too; I had something good to listen to besides Southern Gospel! Favorite track: Let Me Tell You Why.

about

These are the 4-track demos I recorded over the course of writing my self-titled solo record, assembled into a complete alternate version of the album sequence plus 5 songs we never used, which were considered a bit left-field at the time. Love and respect to the eternal memories of Freddie King, Curtis Mayfield, Mississippi Fred McDowell and Hound Dog Taylor.

Composed, Performed, Produced & Mixed by John Davis on 4-Track Cassette EXCEPT "Salvation (Stealth Studio Version 1999)" recorded & mixed by Jamie "Stealth" Shoemaker and "Me & My Girl (Carport Version)" produced by R.S. Field, engineered & mixed by Russ Long at The Carport, Nashville, TN.

Don Coffey Jr: Drums: 2.
Brandon Fisher: Guitar: 2.
